High Street (Penzance)

High Street Methodist Church

Services

2.30pm Worship Service. On 2nd and 9th November, worship will be locally-led.

The Churches Together in Penzance Open Doors once a month is now going to be a Monthly Coffee Morning with refreshments and crafts 11am to 12.30 on the first  Monday of the month. The aim is to support our brothers and sisters in Christ who are being persecuted for their faith in the best possible way.

The first meeting of CTIPA  Open Doors coffee and craft went really well. There was an opportunity to learn and pray for our brothers and sisters who suffer so much for their faith. There were ideas for crafting and fund raising galore and a good time was had. The sum of £100 was raised for this vital work. The next one will be held on Monday 3rd November 11am to 12.30.

If you are an organist/pianist, or know someone who is, and are free on Sunday afternoons 2.30pm to help with playing for our services, please contact Mandy on 07970714979.

Hymn Along meets on Saturday 15th November 3-4pm. This is Dementia Friendly worship, led by Kate Poole who starts with a Bible Reading and hymn and we see where the Holy Spirit leads us as we choose favourite hymns and share experiences. All who enjoy singing hymns are most welcome.
Thursday fellowship is 10.30am each Thursday. Why not come along and see what it is all about? We would love to see you.
It would be lovely if you could join us on any of these dates. Guaranteed you will be welcomed.
