Coronavirus information

All Sunday services and other meetings have been cancelled in all of our churches until further notice. The circuit office is also closed, but we will continue to monitor our email and contacts made via this website, so please do get in touch if you need us.

The Methodist Church of Great Britain is updating information regularly, and includes links to government and NHS advice. It also includes a lot of worship material for use at home while we are unable to meet and worship together.  Please read it here.

The Chair of the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly District, Revd Steve Wild, is offering daily reflections via YouTube.
There will be a new sermon posted each week on the Chapel Street website, which you can access via the church’s page.
Among many others, Truro Methodist Church will be live-streaming worship every Sunday morning

Our superintendent minister, Revd Alastair Bolt, ended his letter to the churches on 14th March with these words:

As responsible communities we seek to follow the guidance of the authorities. However, we are also the People of God. In this time of national anxiety and loss of confidence, let us give a lead in all our conversations; that we are confident in God to get us through. Let us spread calm, and be positive to counteract media-driven panic, witnessing to the living hope we have in Jesus. The joy of the Lord is our strength.
